Further investments - new trolleys for the TAWESCO Group
This year, our material handling equipment is undergoing a complete renewal. Our employees now drive brand new and more technically advanced Still machines.
"What blood circulation is to the human body, for the production company, forklifts are. They take care of the entire material flow from unloading incoming components, production supply to dispatch. That's why we are putting more and more emphasis on their performance and quality," says Miroslav Pechánek, Head of Logistics at TAWESCO. According to him, the new forklift trucks mean not only greater performance but also safety in many respects.
Equally important is the comfort and ergonomics of employees' work. At TAWESCO in Kopřivnice alone, 65 employees get behind the wheel of a forklift every day! However, we replace the trucks throughout the entire group. Since March, drivers in our subsidiary TAWESCO AUTOMOTIVE have also been driving the new machines.
"We have decided to buy back the hitherto used rental equipment, which has suffered from the ravages of time, the ravages of the harsh environment and the ravages of human carelessness, instead of returning it, to repair it and give it a chance to show that it is not yet part of the old iron. We will thus contribute to the company's cost savings and support the equally important strategy of sustainability and reduction of environmental impact," explains Miroslav Pechánek.
