We've settled into our new address
In addition to Úvaly, we now operate in a modern industrial complex in Pečky near Kolín. We moved production from Letňany, where our lease ended this year, to the newly renovated premises in record time. The move took us only three and a half months and it was an incredible ride!
"Moving all the production machines, wiring them up and getting them up and running, we managed to do all this within a quarter of a year. I've never seen anything like it and at such speed. Thank you to everyone involved," says Libor Cenigr, Managing Director of Tawesca Automotive, describing the factory move.
According to him, the advantage of Pečky is not only its convenient location, but also the attitude of the town. "Pečky has an industrial tradition. 2,500 thousand people used to work in this industry here. The current city administration would like to continue this tradition. We perceive great support from them, which is important for us. That is why I see the potential for further growth here. There are vacant plots of land in the area on which to build another hall or halls in the future."
EVERYTHING ABOUT THE PREMISES IN PEČKY:
- We have been looking for new suitable production premises for five years
- Pečky is located on the link between Cologne, where the automotive industry is located, and Mladá Boleslav, where our main customer Škoda Auto is based.
- At the moment, we are producing here on an area of 7-8 thousand square metres.
- As of 1 January, the production area will increase by another 3,000 sqm.
- The development area in the vicinity is 50 thousand square metres
- In Pečky we weld steel structures for the automotive industry
- Production is carried out by 80 employees
- Current main projects - Škoda Enyaq, Scala, Kamiq
